economic development efforts of the Tribe.

Founded for the Future

Established in 2017, the Shivwits Band Corporation (SBC) is a federally chartered Section 17 Corporation. As the economic engine of the Shivwits Band of Paiutes, SBC drives long-term value and development rooted in tribal sovereignty and cultural preservation.

SBC’s mission is to support the prosperity, leadership, and traditions of the Shivwits Band and its members through thoughtful, sustainable economic growth. Every decision is made with the Band’s future in mind.

Serving Our People

The Shivwits Band of Paiutes is a federally recognized Tribe in Southern Utah with approximately 320 members, many of whom reside on or near the Reservation. SBC exists to serve this community with purpose, creating opportunities for generations to come.

Shanandoah Anderson

Shanan is a dedicated member of the Shivwits Band of Paiutes. As an independent entrepreneur, Shanan possesses a diverse array of professional pursuits. She has held positions as Governor for Sunhawk Productions Inc, Band Secretary, Activities Director, Housing Manager, Council Member, Cultural Manager and Shivwits Liaison for the Colorado River Upper Basin Water Authority. Her creative pursuits include videography and production. Shanan is a respected Cultural Monitor and Consultant, talented writer, artists and illustrator.

Karma Grayman

Karma offers thoughtful leadership grounded in her role as an Elder of the Shivwits Band of Paiutes. She earned her her bachelor’s degree in Education from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, UT. She spent nine years teaching ESL to kindergarten and first-grade students in Las Vegas and later served 14 years as the Indian Education Teacher and Coordinator for Washington County School District. A lifelong learner, Karma remains dedicated to preserving and sharing Paiute language with youth, believing that “Education never ends.” She is proud to be SeeVeets/Shivwits.

Cameron EchoHawk

As the Chief Executive Officer of the Shivwits Band Corporation, Cameron has led a remarkable transformation — growing annual revenue over 15x in just five years. A Cum Laude graduate of Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Business, Cameron earned his degree in Strategic Management. He has played key roles in launching and scaling multiple tribally owned enterprises, including Kaiva Corporation. An enrolled member of the Pawnee Nation, Cameron is deeply committed to Tribal economic development and sovereignty.

Katelyn BeVard

Katelyn brings 15+ years of leadership experience in the outdoor mental health field. Having previously lived and worked on backcountry land; she has a deep awareness of the ongoing impact of colonization and is committed to supporting tribal sovereignty. Katelyn is known for her strong communication, relationship-building skills, and meticulous attention to detail. She is a Penn State graduate and former collegiate athlete.

Jeff Dyer​

Dr. Jeff Dyer (Ph.D UCLA) is a former manager at Bain & Company and is a Professor of Strategy at BYU. He is a globally recognized management scholar and his bestselling book The Innovator’s DNA and influential research have been widely cited and featured in major business publications such as Forbes, Economist, Fortune, Business Week, and Wall Street Journal.

Dan is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with over 50 years of experience and holds the prestigious designation of a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Known for his bold thinking and problem-solving skills, he brings creativity, confidence, and a results-driven mindset to board conversations and decisions. He excels at finding smart, innovative solutions.​
